Dr. Scott Wenger
People come to the crossroads of seeking mental health treatment for many different reasons and with many different paths. I would like to meet you on that path and help guide you to the place you want to get to in your life. I have over 30 years of experience in counseling and therapy, with 20 years working in addictions, dual diagnosis, inpatient mental health with persistent mental illness, and outpatient with individuals and couples for both the Veterans Administration and as adjunct faculty at Loma Linda University Department of Psychiatry. I also do psychological assessment for diagnosis clarification and treatment planning.
Areas of experience include behavior change, marital counseling, compulsive use disorders, PTSD, anxiety/mood or thought disorders. I provide interpersonal therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Relapse Prevention. I also conduct psychological and cognitive assessments.
Life can throw many curveballs and disrupt even the best plans, goals, and values. I would like the opportunity to work with you and/or your family as you set goals and work towards leading a value-driven, happier existence.
